Once again, your local Christian book store and members of Christian Authors Network (CAN) have teamed up to create a great summer reading program for you and your family. Karen Whiting shared about the great resources for kids in her June 6 post. For adults, we offer a packet of thirty-three devotions for you to use in your daily quiet time. Some of these feature excerpts from books or characters from novels. Others were written based on summer memories. But all are designed to bring you encouragement and spiritual nourishment during your summer activities and travel.

DesignedforDevotionCall or stop by your local independent Christian bookstore to learn how to get your packet. Feel free to copy the devotions and share with others, or better yet, encourage your friends to get their own packet. These brief devotions begin with a Bible verse and end with a question or statement to help you apply Scriptural truth to your life. They are quick to read and easy to grab on your way to the airport, to work, or to the hammock in that shady corner of your yard. And wherever the summer takes you, please remember that CAN authors are praying for you as you read these specially prepared devotions.
