Limited Theatrical Release - Desperately in need of money in hopes of regaining custody of his daughter, James (Joel Smallbone) embarks on a cross-country delivery for cash -- no questions asked. But when he discovers "what" he is delivering is actually "who," the questions in his mind begin haunting him mercilessly. James becomes an unlikely hero and must fight to save the innocence and lives of the two young women -- one with whom he finds himself falling in love.
"Priceless" is a dramatic movie with a message that every life is priceless and has worth. Joel Smallbone is outstanding as James, a man who has known a lot of pain since he lost his wife to death and then his daughter to his mother's care. He drives cross country for cash, and little does he know the cargo he is carrying. When he goes off the road after falling asleep at the wheel, he learns that two sisters, Antonia and Maria, have stowed away in the back. James buys them clothes and food to eat. Antonia senses the unhappiness in James's life and tells him she will pray for him. A man named Carl plans to traffic them, and the girls have no idea what is in store. Neither does James, until Carl takes them from him. Bothered by his conscience, James is determined to do the right thing and get the sisters back. He finds help from a man named Dale, who once lost his own daughter to drugs and sex trafficking. A lot of action takes place as James and Dale work together to rescue the girls. Just as the girls are priceless to James and to God, a great price is paid in order to try and get them back.
A couple leads a young woman out of prostitution near the end of the film. "Priceless" is a movie about the worth of a soul. Due to a drug scene and bloody violence when an innocent man is shot, we are presenting the film our "Faith-Based" Seal. It contains objectionable material but also contains a strong faith message.
