“Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2,” is the final adventure in the Harry Potter film series. The much-anticipated motion picture event is the second of two full-length parts.
In the epic finale, the battle between the good and evil forces of the wizard world escalates into an all-out war. The stakes have never been higher and no one is safe. But it is Harry Potter who may be called upon to make the ultimate sacrifice as he draws closer to the climactic showdown with Lord Voldemort.
It all ends here. “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2” stars Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson, reprising their roles as Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger.
If you enjoy or love this series, you no doubt will enjoy and love this one as well. It truly wraps up the "Harry Potter" series and the ending definitely rewards the viewer with a feeling of finality. The conclusion should leave Potter fans everywhere with the warm fuzzies and feeling good about the future for the characters they have grown to love over the years. However, leading up to that point of closure, there are several scenes of a battle against the darkness and appropriately many of the movie's scenes are darkly lit.
The movie is basically about the ultimate showdown between Harry Potter and the evil Lord Voldemort. Harry learns that to defeat him he must make a sacrifice of his own which will require much more of him than he ever would have imagined. His faithful friends Hermione and Ron are with him and this is literally a battle to the death. The special effects are amazing and the story rushes to a climax in the last forty five minutes which will keep loyal viewers glued to the screen. If a few viewers have not read the book, they may be in for a surprise or two. Unfortunately, we have never awarded our Dove Seal to the movies due to the use of witchcraft and spells and that holds true for this one as well. And in this case there are a few bloody scenes which hit a three on our content chart, above our acceptable level. Although we recognize this is a fantasy movie, we would rather make an error on the side of caution.
