The Newsboys are getting music lovers in the holiday spirit with “The Christmas Song,” which is available on all streaming platforms. The song will allow fans to celebrate the Christmas with Newsboys as they spend time with family and friends during the holidays.

“We are always in the spirit of celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus,” says Newsboys. “‘The Christmas Song’ is one of our favorite Christmas tunes to listen to each and every year, and we hope everyone will enjoy this song during this most amazing season. As we celebrate His birth, let’s rejoice that families and friends can be together this year as well as remember in our prayers those service men and women who are serving abroad.”

The release of “The Christmas Song” follows the launch of the band’s latest album, Stand, which features the hit song “Magnetic.” Stand was released in October.

In the fall, the Newsboys (comprised of Michael Tait, Duncan Phillips, Jeff Frankenstein, and Jody Davis) performed on numerous national television shows, were featured in the documentary, The Jesus Music, and participated in the historic “Route 66 God Loves You Tour” with Franklin Graham. The group also embarked on the “Step Into the Light Tour” in October and November with special guests Mandisa, We Are Messengers, Cade Thompson and Adam Agee.

Few bands have as much history and passion for the world through music as the Newsboys. The band’s journey started with their self-produced debut album He’s Coming Back, which released in 1987. Newsboys have since released nineteen studio albums.

With over thirty #1 hit songs including “Born Again,” “We Believe,” and the Platinum selling “God’s Not Dead,” Newsboys continue to bring the same unbridled passion and dedication to the Lord through music and ministry.
