As we wave goodbye to 2016, we also bid farewell to bad habits like worry and stress. Instead, we can try new ways, new habits, new routines, new adventures and even new recipes for the New Year.

Don’t you love the ones that are simple to prepare and delicious? That was my goal—to find such recipes when, as a young mom, I lost my sight.

Simply SalsaBlindness tried to sink me in gloom. But I then decided to create my own recipe for happiness:

*1 cup determination
*1/2 cup passion
*3 tbsp creativity
*a pinch of humor
*a sense of adventure to taste

Blend all and stir in generous amounts of faith and trust in God.
