Selah Celebrates 20 Years as a Trio
Dove Award-winning artist Selah will celebrate 20 years in ministry with the highly-anticipated release of Unbreakable on March 24. Unbreakable is the trio’s first all-new studio recording in nearly three years.
The album project was produced by founding members Todd Smith and Allan Hall, along with longtime collaborator Jason Kyle Saetveit. Unbreakable, Selah’s ninth studio album, includes contributions from producers Ed Cash (Chris Tomlin, NEEDTOBREATHE) and Charlie Peacock (Switchfoot, Civil Wars).
Ranging from newly-penned songs to hymns and traditional favorites, Unbreakable showcases Selah’s signature harmonies with 13-songs, including the title track, “Unbreakable.” Other highlights include “People of the Cross,” “I Got Saved” and “Broken Ladders.”
Additional standouts include “Jesus Will Still Be There,” a new arrangement of the Point of Grace hit featuring Hall’s lead vocals; and beloved hymns like “In the Sweet By and By,” “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot/I’ll Fly Away,” and “Leaning on the Everlasting Arms,” which features 14-time GRAMMY® winner Ron Block of Alison Krauss + Union Station.
With a more than two-decade career, Selah has penned moving anthems such as “You Raise Me Up,” “Press On,” “Wonderful, Merciful Savior” and “You Amaze Us,” among others.
Comprised of Smith, Hall and Amy Perry, Selah has received eight Gospel Music Association Dove Awards—including five Inspirational Album of the Year honors—a Gold-certified album, eight #1 singles and total career sales of over 4 million units.
A few of the group’s notable performances have included Carnegie Hall and a headlined, sold-out show at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. The trio has performed at venues across the globe. For more information, go to selahonline.com.
